At least with a 2.055 Ferrea valve. Being able to do 5 angle valve jobs caused a new learning curve and I see even better things in the future. Between .500-.525 lift my airspeed just starts to hit 401fps and at that point I usually lose a port and it stalls or even backs up but not this port. It continues to climb. My customer is going to run a .575 lift solid cam so this should work great for him. It’s begging to slightly lower and shape the short side more but this combo doesn’t require it. I ran it up too .700 just to see and I only lost a couple cfm. He’s hoping to run high 6’s in his Demon.

That's some good numbers

I’m trying to shy away from that stuff. Lol. That testing gets to expensive

That’s a FACT. Back when I worked at a shop and I had the mill and seat and guide machine right there with my flow bench I could do some serious testing. Plus we had a wheel dyno there too.

Now I have the crank dyno but no mill or S&G machine. But I can work some stuff out with my last boss and his kid.

So we’ll see how that goes.

I really like the .500 lift

I sure wish I could get my almost 33 year old son interested in porting. He was a on the road fork truck repairman till they shut the Keystone pipeline job down and a car mechanic since last December so he’s very mechanical. He hasn’t raced his car for 4 years because of lack of money. With the racing friends he has he could be making a lot of money porting their stuff. I could sure shorten his learning curve by years and everything needed is bought and paid for. Ohhh well someday he will be sorry.

Okay, you can adopt me and I will come over and you can teach me. I'm only 68, unvaxed, type 2 diabetic with 1 stint in the widowmaker. I may be good for a couple more years.
