It's rare that i go to the hospital but i managed to dis-locate my shoulder last night while wrestling with my dog!
It's been bad for years and even had it operated on once but still have it come out of place once in a while.
This was supposed to be my last week of work before starting my new job on Mon. but i can't work for at least a week, hopefully it will feel better by the time i start my new job.

Morphine is really good stuff!!!:evil2:

Wow, EvilScamp, that sucks. Must be a big dog. Hope you feel better so you can start your new job on time. It would be really bad to miss work on your first day. Must be pretty painful if they're giving you morphine.

They just gave me the Morphine so they could put it back together, they gave me Benodryl for the pain after it was back in place.

Looks like i'll be spending a lot of time on here this week since i can't do anything else.

My right shoulder has been worked on to and it is no picnic.
hope you get healed up soon and get off that morphine soon.
My Dr has me on Meloxicam to take inflammation down.
What kind of dog do you have Evil?
Here is one You do not need to be playing to much with
if you are under 200 lbs.
7 cubs of food a day and allot of fresh water daily.
meat Bernie Mac.

Just zipping you're pants up is almost impossible!! Write? #-o

I know where your coming from Kev. I dislocated mine when I was out on the ATC 5 years ago. Had to drive 11K back to the camp and then to the hospital. I was all by myself. I learned a new definition of pain that night. Driving an atc along logging roads with your shoulder hanging down an inch or two is no fun.

Hope your feeling better soon!!!

Yep it definately hurt!
I have done it several times now sometimes it goes back in by itself and sometimes it won't.
When it came out this time it went down and in towards my ribs and up against the shoulder bone, the muscles kept contracting and pulling the 2 bones against each other like it was trying to go back together but it couldn't because of the 2 bones jambed against each other.

All kidding aside, hope you heal quick and feel better soon pal!

It feels a little better today it's gonna be sore for a couple days,i'll have to be extra careful with it for a while. No wrestling for a while!:naka:

LOL

Keep that sense of humor bud and everything will ok. :headbang:

Keep it in a sling and let those ligaments heal before you
use them.
If not they will get used to being stretched out and not be able to
use there strength.

And it helps to put your Mind!!! on something to keep IT!! busy. :worthles:

Ok I have been drinking!!! :drinkers:

That sucks..not to mention having to go to an ER around here! My wife dislocated hers in December picking up one of the grandkids. Keeps telling me we can't have sex cause of her shoulder. What does that have to do with it?
Hope ya feel better soon and make it to your new job ok!
