Spring fling 2023 a bust for A bodies

-
Nothing special, just 318 heads. One set had some nice at home port work. I just hate throwing stuff away thats older then I am, but I'm also tired of lugging them around and don't have the space for this stuff.
Told some people to just take them for a few bucks or else they go to the dump, nothing. Thats why they are sitting I'm my dumpster now.
Too bad

I've been a vendor at a few swap meets. Worst one was in Lindsay approx 5-6 years ago in May. Packed literally everything up, loaded the Prospector and a trailer.
I slept in truck 1st night, snow and freezing cold all weekend. Had to turn down 2 12 hour OT shifts and sold 7 blade fan...that's it. Pure misery...

I don't sell many parts anymore (thank godness) but IF I was shipping stuff like the long fragile trim I would simply ask the buyer to pay for a PVC tube or whatever as part of the deal/ A good buyer wil be willng to pay for fair costs. The guy that wants evrything for nothing, well......................

I ship stuff like that all the time. I make a lot of my own boxes anymore. A tube works great but the shippers charge more because a tube will roll off of the conveyor line so they have to hand carry it down. A tube inside of a box is best.
