just a simple question about spring relocation kits. has anybody had any problems cornering, like normal cornering in the neighborhood or curves on the highway? it just seems a little weaker than factor hangers.
Moving the springs in changes the effective spring rate (wheel rate). The longer distance between the spring pad and the wheel means with the same input at the wheel, more force is applied at the spring.
So if you do a 3” relocation and want to keep the wheel rate the same, you need higher spring rate leaf springs.
