I have a 2000 5.9 that P.I.E. upgraded the heads (supposed to ) I asked for steel rockers (specifically ) and was sent a generic set of aluminum ones and when I confronted him about it his answer was I don't know anyone who makes those. At that point I knew I had made a mistake letting this person do work for me. So the reason I included that in my post is so #1 don't deal with him #2 these are the heads I have to work with. So the reason for post is I'm looking for MAGNUM MOTOR STUD OR PEDESTAL MOUNT ROLLER ROCKERS. I also asked for beehive springs and did not receive them either. So I'm assembling the engine now and am searching for a magnum first hand knowledge guy (major tom to ground control).

I'm by no means an expert but will share what my buddy who is a race engine machinist and engine builder did to a Magnum headed 360. He used small block Chevrolet pedestal mount roller rockers on the 360 he built for a guys 4WD truck. He did something that was different with the studs, but other than that, they were a bolt on and worked well. I can't remember what he did with the studs, but want to say he had to retap the holes in the pedestals for a different size. Do a little research on the Chevy rocker to Magnum conversion and see if it sounds like a solution for you. Hopefully, some of the really knowledgeable Magnum motor guys like @TT5.9mag and a few others will see your thread and chime in. Sorry for your troubles, and good luck to you.

Kind words @JDMopar thank you. The Chevy pedestal mount rockers do work on a magnum with a conversion stud. I believe ARP makes it. I have never done it but lots of people have. That would give the OP the choice of whatever rocker he could dream up as I’m sure there are hundreds of different rockers for small block Chevy stud mounts.

This used to be the easy button, but crane is no longer in business, although there are other ways to get there.

I installed the Hughes 1550 rockers arms on a set of Engine Quest heads about 10 yrs and 10k miles ago, no problems so far. I think they are basically Chevy rockers on adapter studs.

The only odd part was very little thread engagement on the adjusters. I called Hughes, he said it's normal and hasn't casued any problems. No problems so far with mine, I don't really rev it past 5500 RPM.

That's the link i posted on his other thread. They are indeed a "chevy" rocker. They are a 1.65 ratio, so that they will yield the actual 1.6 on the Mopar.

Guy's I really appreciate your efforts to help . I have found prw rockers $320 and as far as the studs go I have the conversation studs and the guides to install 3/8 stud mounted rockers . And I have a no faith in set of alum r r that are going to be key chains i give away to everyone at Christmas EXCEPT PERFORMANCE INJ EQP LOL i even have the locknuts but no one will sell me just the roc so i gave up on that and went with prw cause at $320 and called and confirmed they will work what else could i ask for ?? (A fat girl with a job and no self-esteem ) so I still never heard from an actual hands on confirmed runner of chevy rollers on a magnum ??? I'm like ya'll I hear about it but no real confirmation but thanks again I'll post my build when i get to that part!

@TT5.9mag This begs the question, what is you preferred rocker to the Magnum head or do you go LA on a Magnum block?

Yes that would be a brain teaser I personally if budjet not a factor I would go shaft mount no dought but in my case I have new eq heads so I'm stuck
I have a NOS Magnum bare block with dealer stickers still on it. Someday I want to build it and, while years away, I routinely think about the direction the build should go. The cylinder head choice is something that internally debate. Edelbrock Magnum's or Edelbrock or TF LA? I think I'm going to stay true to my original motivations and take advantage of the tall, un-chamfered, lifter bores for a streetable hyd roller lifter but build it like an LA (heads, w/p, and intake).

I was going to suggest looking into UTAWESOME PERFORMANCE for what really works on Magnums.

I made over 700hp with stock rockers. So that begs the question are aftermarket rockers even necessary? I used Harland sharp 1.6 on a magnum that was for a friend and really liked them but they were non adjustable and pushrod length must be spot on. I used a comp Chevy pedestal mount adjustable on a 5.2 with a conversion stud but it was 15 years ago and I don’t remember whose stud it was. Those worked just fine also. My current 5.9 is getting W2s, so offset shaft setup that Mike at B3 scienced out for me. Whichever rocker you use, take some time making the geometry right and measuring for pushrod length and it’ll be fine.

Yes, I was going to mention that to the OP when the mention of Chevy pedestal rockers came up.

When I bought the 360 magnum off a guy I new. He was runing EQ heads, comp 555 solid flat tappet cam and oil through push rods. He also was running chevy 1.6 PRW stainless steel rockers, guide plates and screw in rocker studs. The engine saw 7000 rpm all the time. I ended up having 2 rocker arms come lose and mess up the valve stems. I think which was my fault. This engine sat fir over a year before I got the dakota running. I think he backed them off for storage and I forgot to check them before I started the truck. I ended up buying a set of trickflow heads and put them on my dakota. The EQ heads with the chevy prw rockers ran for two years being raced before I bought the engine. Here are some pictures of the eq heads and rockers
