That's the cost of going all in on EV's, and turbo sixes, at the expense of dropping the beloved V8, and having high vehicle prices. Sorry, but you can't cater to another, smaller customer demographic, with high expendetures, and expect to keep your current customer base and profit margins.
In my opinion (and not that anyone should care what I think), I think the writing was on the wall as soon as Chrysler (FCA) merged with the PSA Group that the "bean counters" were going to kill everything that was Fun & Good.
