Started on my 440.

I got my 440 block back from the machine shop Fri. I had them bore it .030 , deck it .008 and check the main cap alignment. Also had my rods recondition. Now I will balance my rods and pistons and then give the machine shop the bob weight so they can balance my crank and I can really get moving on this thing. Ron

Right on Ron, sounds like it will be a very strong motor; and that things are going just as well :salut: :thumblef:

Well not really worried about beating Jrs Dart. I really feel it has 11.50's or better in it if we ever take the time to work with the Dart at the track. But I am looking for this combo on the 63 to run in the 11's. I am hoping it runs in the 11.50 to 11.80 area as thats all I want..........a driver that is a cool vintage car that looks like a Max Wedge and I can drive to the track and blast out some 11's so I can trailer a few race cars and have fun. I dont mind if Jrs Dart beat me as after all its a Mopar and I built most of it ! Ron
