Std. Steelies or Cop Rims

Hey All,

I am trying to decide on which rims to go with on my 68 Val. I Am finishing up the front end rebuild / upgrade and recently put an 8.75 rear in as well. My sbp rally wheels won't fit anymore but that is okay because I want to go with steel rims and dog dish hub caps.

I have a full set of standard steel and police rims both in 15 inch to choose from. I intend to paint them body color and use dog dish caps. The car is intended to be a handling, auto-x, corner carver. I like the idea of the cop rims for the extra cooling holes, but wonder if it will look totally weird. I had the standard steelies on my 67 Dart and it looked "right". What do you all think of the cop rims on a 68 Val?

Personally, I'm not a fan of cop steelies on A bodies. I'd stick with standard steel wheels.

run the cop wheels with trim rings and dog dish caps, for road course they are supposedly stronger hence the "cop" wheel

Black steels are better looking than a bunch of holes around the outer wheel... Cop wheels look like chevy 4wheeling wheels...
