Steering column grounds

Putting the steering column back in the car and I’ve got two ground straps I think going on the steering column at the mounting bracket , but I’m not sure exactly how they hook up and where they go. If Somebody has the trim cover off of their steering column could take a picture for me, how the wiring is done, I would appreciate it.

Here's what the ground looks like on a '71 Demon.

Put one end of the ground on the short 5/16 bolt that holds the bracket to the column. The other end on the stud that holds the bracket up to the dash , Remember there are three nuts and 1 longer bolt for the column . two nuts to hold it up and one for the ground. Do not use the nut that holds it up for the ground, Use the same stud just and extra nut

CFD244, thank you for the photo. I have two wires that look like the one you were showing and I’m not sure how the second one would hook up. they are on either side of the column shaft. are they both grounds for the column?

I only had one on my car.....Not sure if the 68's had 2......Lots can happen in 50 years
