steering column key light?

where does this plug into? The wire runs all the way down my column and just hangs there. I dont see anything around to plug it into. Pics would be great

This is right out of the 70 Dart / Challenger manual section 8 (electrical) page 8-100 See? at bottom right?

The lamp connector should be yellow, a single terminal connector, going down to the delay relay. I believe they are normally a round cylinder about ? 3/4" diameter

Yes, the time delay relay is a silver cylinder that looks like a fluorescent light ballast, but with three terminals. On my '74 it was right on top of the steering column, wrapped in electrical tape. (Mine had failed, and was draining the battery by leaving the ignition light on all the time.)

I almost mentioned that, except that it's a starter, not a ballast. I don't think many light fixtures use those, anymore LOL
 
Is the column original? The key, glovebox, map. fender top and trunk lights were part of a "light package" so if the car didn't come with all that the wiring harness may not exist.
