Hello - I'm trying to ID my steering system components. Right now I just want hoses, but I plan to rebuild replace everything steering related in the front end this fall when the rain comes. The car is a 75 Scamp with a 383 out of a 69 Roadrunner. Looks to be a Saginaw pump? Were there any gear options? And how the heck to I find hoses? Thanks!

There are companies out there who will rebuild the steering box and can change the ratio of it. I used this company because they are a few hours from me. These things are heavy and expensive to ship. I think Firm Feel is out in your area. They may be able to offer a hose kit for your setup or you may be able to use the lines from another big block A-body like a 69 Dart with 383 and saginaw pump. Rock Auto has them.

Go to rock auto, put in your car and pick the hoses, make sure the pics match your old ones beforehand... and you can buy complete rebuild kits for the front end (bushings/tie rod ends and ****) from tons of places...

Rockauto is bout the cheapest for a lot of stuff though and good for looking up parts

looked it up for a 68 since the 75 wouldn't list a big block... The pressure hose is a newer style without that loop at the gear, would give some more space around the headers

BTW.. if you make a rockauto account you can keep your car (or a 69 with 383) in the list, makes life easier.. good place for parts
