Anyone heard of Lares Corporation in Cambridge MN? They rebuild p.s. pumps & steering gear sectors. Thinking of pulling my steering sector & getting rebuilt, they only do stock rebuilds unlike FirmFeel & Steer & Gear where you can bump it up a little.

Do compare what all they rebuild with what Firm Feel does. Firm Feel does more than just seals and some shimming.

Unless you are getting a firm feel style rebuild I would simply turn in your car for a remanufactured steering gear box. I recently did that on my bills and paid $105 for a completely remanufactured gearbox. Later I am going to do the "pump it down" modification to the Saginaw steering pump to increase my steering feel.
