A couple weeks ago my turning signals went out and it is now a mystery of what happened. My first thought was a blown fuse. Put a new one in and still blew. There is a short someplace and we narrowed it down to the column. The front and back of the car has been disconnected and everything seems fine. So we thought the short must be in the column. I purchased a new turning signal switch we put that in and still don't work. The was my last hope. My hazards and instrument cluster lights work. The radio, heater a/c light, backup lights are all on the same circuit as the turning signals and none of them worked when they went out. But we got my cd player back on. Anybody have any suggestions. Thanks

If you pulled the flasher and the fuse still blew then you have a problem with the wiring under the dash from the fuse to the flasher. Go to the flasher and trace the wire back. Power will travel from the fuse to the flasher then into the column thru the switch and then out to the light front and rear. If the flasher is pulled then the problem is contained to the fuse block to the flasher.
