I'm currently using stock 318 72 heads that have been bored to 1.88 intake, 1.60 exhaust, and milled a little. The lifters are hydraulic and my cam is a Mopar Purple Shaft for the 340. Is there any way I can replace my rocker arms with a roller rocker set off of Magnum heads? What length pushrod do I need? Thanks for the help.

magnum heads use pedestal mounted rockers.....and your 72 318 uses shaft mounted rockers....so the answer is NO.....

Ah bummer, are there any cars that have shaft mounted rockers that are roller that could fit the 318 heads?

No. The only real way is to buy some roller rockers. I have comp pro mags

Places to look for roller rockers would be Hugesengine (.com) Crane and Comp Cams. There offered in the stock 1. and the higher 1.6 ratio to match the Magnums ratio.

Alright thanks for the help guys. If I buy an aftermaket roller rocker set will the pushrods be stock length?

yeah you need to buy some roller rockers for the shaft. That being said, the original rockers were really not that bad of a design. they were extremely strong and not really that heavy. the only downside would be the ratio and the non--adjustable factor.
I just built a 318 for my pickup. I used the original rockers and shafts from 1975. they looked like new almost! (after they were washed at the machine shop) JMO...
