New cam is recommending 2k stall. When looking around I came across these two options. One says light pads/Low Stall another says high stall and another still has no designation. Does anyone know what the stall is on these converters?

Furthermore the 1st two say for '77-up. Is there a difference between '68-76 & '77-up?

High Stall '77-up

Low Stall '77-up

No designation other than '68-'76

..................... 76 down had a thicker mounting pads to bolt to the flex plate......u need a higher stall than a factory converter can give u......or take ur converter to a tc rebuilder, they can make it alittle higher than factory..... .......kim.......

Here's a link that you should use before you order your converter. They have a high stall spec sheet you can download and fill in the information needed to get the RIGHT STALL converter for your application. Give the converter supplier all the information that you've done to the engine, tire size, axle ratio, cam specs etc. DON'T BS them, because if you do, the converter may not work the way you want it to. If you've got a real dyno sheet, send that information also.

Also, watch out on the year. Chysler started to use lockup converters in the late 70's.
