Stock LA 318 pulleys ok for 5.9L Magnum crate engine?

So far, everything looks like it should match up but I read somewhere that the Magnum motors may use a different water pump that requires a different RPM in order to flow enough coolant.

If this is true, does it also apply to the "crate engine" version? Externally, the water pump looks the same.

I'm pretty close to firing my car up! I won't be able to drive it until Spring regardless...but progress feels good.
 
Magnum crate engines are based off LA externals to fit older mopars.
Pulleys, external accesories all work.
If running headers you must grind the magnum engine mounts off to clear. (minor work).
Make damn sure the balance on the flywheel / flex plate is correct.
