Went to the Mopar Mason Dixon Car Show, Swap Meet & Drag Racing Today. The reason I bring this up is ever since I decide not use air shocks I have not been able to lift the rear end of my 1971 Plymouth Duster where I would like it. Spoke with some of the Duster owners today, some were using 4-Link set up (to costly for me at this time), some installed Super-Stock Springs (have not had any lock finding a low cost set) and others have added additional leafs from old sets of springs that looked to work great.

Was wondering of any of the members on here may have and old sets of springs and would be willing to part with the two shorter leafs off each spring?

I am located in York, Pa 17403

Thank You,

KP

Picked up a very nice set of superstock springs from a fellow FABO member.

I have a question, these springs must be installed on particular sides. How do I tell what side what spring gets installed on?

The passenger side will have more arch to it. Make sure you have the longer shocks for the s/s springs. I never had any luck with the Mopar shocks.

I modified the bushing/mounts on a pair of Dakota truck shocks to run with my SS springs. They are the right length with heavier damping and seem to work well with my setup.

If there the 002/003's the 003 goes on the driver side.

I will have to check the numbers on them.

Thank You!

what type of longer shock would i need for a 68 barracuda when installing SS leaf srpings?

I'm running mopar performance extended shocks, with 002/003 springs. Happy so far

I will get the part number when I get home from work. You can get then from your local dealership parts dept.

Those are them. Call your dodge parts dept and give them that number, see how much they charge you. Plus no shipping from dealer!
