Yeah... I called around to various yards today, very hard to find in a yard near me. Surpringly considering how many Jeeps there are out there

car-part.com

It's a national database of salvage yard inventory... Do a search for what you want near you or close enough for a road trip...

First gold members, then red X, I always liked the report button myself! What next will be banned by the fun police?:poke::poke::lol:

man i have to figure out how to haul concrete blocks
How far, machine? And block size?
I had to build a block lifter to place blocks for electrical pedestals. An X with chain on top and a couple flat plates to squeeze together and grab the blocks.placed them with a tractor/loader.

Well touched up the engine paint and frame, sway bar, etc.. Slapped the new under-dash insulation on and it actually fit.
Fit, cut, and put on all new hoses.
CRC'd some connectors on the wiring harness and changed out the fuses.
And a bunch of other little stuff.
Already for the dash going in tomorrow.

2x2x6 about 4000 pounds each.

Hauling isn’t a problem. I’ve got a 25,000 pound trailer . Problem is, the guy has no way to load them on site. Which is 45 minutes away. So I’d have to haul my loader each way, which weighs 13,000 pounds itself. So to get all 14, I’d have to make 5 trips, with the loader. So I’m passing. Which sucks cause I need the blocks and they’re only 20 bucks a piece
Move the loader, load a trailer full and drag em off with a chain.
Easy.

We went out for a steak too with friends. They live in Brazil and were home for the holidays.
Nice meal, but ate to late and they never sits well with me.
Plus putting the dash back in Saturday....thinking to much.
Have to wire in the temp and oil sending units back to the dash. PO had aftermarket crap (machinal units) under the dash.
Buddy who's rebuilt MOPARS for years is helping/doing the wiring says no problems. I have never messed with electrical before but sure it will all work out. Tested the gauges with the Hoppy tester and all were good.
I know this is a simple one just thinking to much....LOL!!

I like to run both the factory gauges and the aftermarket mechanical gauges...

Cheapest I’ve been quoted is 6800 for a 3.8 reman thru Jasper Engines. I’m simply weighing options since the hemi swap would actually be cheaper for the complete kit. I’m not sure I want to go that route but I like to explore all options.

I used to support the 3.8 L engine line... I made many improvements to help quality and throughput on it...
