Stop in for a cup of coffee

Evening all. Debating whether to step in or not.
Mrs ordered pizza and is going to pick it up. Guess i will find out if heat is any better.

Was talking to a friend about the heat,he asks if it has rear heat.
I said do heated seats count,if so-yes...

Well a little snag putting the dash back together. This part whatever its called plugs into eight copper pegs on the dash circuit board.
The old board the pegs were rounded at the top and plug shown in pic fit.
New board the pegs aren't rounded and it won't go on.
Wonder if the wire fittings held in the plug as I'm calling it need to be a little bigger.
Easy fix would be just to put the old board back on.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Yep one broke off at the end of the wire while we tried to get it on the new pegs.

Yay I just found my lost Frozen movie DVD.

My dad's DVD player just died, so I gave him an old player from my closet, and when I powered it up, the tray opened and my frozen movie disc was there.

I wondered what happened to it. It's a blu ray disc too.

So another bumper saga. Going tomorrow to pick up a front bumper for Kieth. Deja Vu?
You da man! I saw you had it set up already. Anticipation gonna kill me till July. Gives me time to find a nice set of bumperrettes or see about plating mine.

So, I checked the heat door flippers/motors in the Journey. There are 4 doors from what I see. They all seem to work. Not sure about the fresh air inlet. It closes if I press recirculate , but seems like it opens as soon as I put the heat to the floor. I would think that should stay shut for heat. Unless the other door is closing the duct.
It still is not getting heat to the passenger side. I would have thought the air would be sent where needed after the core, but it looks like the two sides blow through the core separately. From what I read the right side of the core could be clogged and left still heat OK. The inlet/outlet are on drivers side of the core. Need to find best place to get at the lines to back flush it.

Check heater hose temp.a clogged core will have one hot hose and one cooler one.
A good flowing core will have heater hoses both close to same temp. That is with blower fanand temp on high.
Does it have cabin filters? Thought i would ask.

Evening everyone. Just spent some alone time in the shop. Found out someone changed out the 4.56 gears in the Demon that Dad had for some 3.23s. Will make highway driving better when the time comes. Also was looking at the steering center link trying to find out why it wont clear the 187 pan everyone told me to use. I have no idea what link was in there as it doesn't match anything I have seen before and it was cut with a drop welded in. I swapped out to the center link and idler arm from a front clip from a 73 Duster I had laying around. Now it has ~2" of clearance. No issues other than they have the tapers coming from the top versus the bottom. Anyone know if the power steering arm and the manual steering arm are the same for 73+ with taper from the top? If so, I can run back up to the junkyard and grab it from the car I got the clip from, if not, I will have to buy a new one. Anyone know???? Please

And had a few Yuengling lagers and a nice Maduro torpedo cigar.....

Similar to bullet style connectors. Wonder if they would work. To repair broken one.
Frustrating,dash work is...

Checked temp, yes one felt cooler. Filter is removed at this point.

With respect to tooljunkie, one will be cooler, the blower fan removes heat from the coolant to heat the car interior...so returning coolant will be cooler..

True, but one REALLY hot and other just warm is what I have and what I believe he was saying.

Mother in law said to bring a cooler along when we come for Christmas. I will be going home with some corn fed.

Must be some kind of twisted omen. There's an ad for Hooker Headers for a SBF in a Pinto on my page
They should know by now that if I put a big motor in a Pinto it will be a BIG motor
