Good guy not far from here.
DoneSend me a buck goods and it will be out today. Matt sent it to me a great perspective of the battle from the commanders view with all the squabbles. Wish I have read it before.
think different jets and metering rods since the manual has a higher curve in the ignition usually. Not knowing that much a question for you.
The 67 383 manual and automatic carburetors have different Carter # manual 4298, automatic 4299s
Is there really a difference between a automatic and manual carbuertor??
Well keep us posted.Morning. Off to the cardiologist this morning to get checked out.
LOL I bet miles of walking would do me good!Well keep us posted.
If for some reason he says you need surgery schedule it between MOPARS in the Park and Carlisle...
My guess it'll be a wait and see.
Speaking of walking, I hope I don't have to do a stress test. I hate those. My knees don't like it either. LOL I am not a runner. My heart valve noise happens at idle. No reason to load it against the dyno to hear it.LOL I bet miles of walking would do me good!
Thank you TJ, I saved these pictures just in caseIn case you are building brackets.

And he wishes his was the color of the Sun.Nice truck! Wish mine was that clean! Hey you wouldn't have a side mounted gas tank sending/pump unit around?
Jimmy lost again? That's the plan. Sorry was doing my morning Carter search.
Sure when you have time send it.
What makes this thing so difficult to find? Very low production, or what?No not yet. Call someone on them just about everyday.
Went through the last four years here buying/selling 4298's. I PM' the buyers and sellers just checking.
I'll find one, no hurry.

Good Morning
Hey all. Yep not many made for sure.1036 383 4 speeds.
I bet that was a street terror when new. AND a drop top! Envious. Very few 4 speed convertibles across the complete Mopar line. Guys were racing 4 speeds and the added weight of the convertible was counter productive.1036 383 4 speeds.
If you were class racing it might put you in the next class, competing against larger cars.I bet that was a street terror when new. AND a drop top! Envious.
