Body shop buddy gave me a paint shaker. Its plum wore out.
I can get a kit,but no canuck supplier. I should see if he wants a kit for his other one, at least we can split the freight.
then on to my next quest, tooling to make female inverted flare fittings.
There has to be something out there, guy at the coffee shop thinks he has, and may sell the kit to me. Curious to see whats involved.
There are no click and restore programs out there that will do it. I restore old photos in a painstaking process using 5 different software programs and can get some good results. Some take an hour and some take dozens of hours depending on condition.so you guys usually know about almost everything....
are there software programs available to make an old, poor quality video or pic look better on a big screen?
I have some old pics and videos from like 2005, and I guess my camera wasn't as good as I thought it was at the time.
Be lucky if the sausages stay on the grill.
Evening all.
I just deleted the pics and still have the videos but after seeing your post I might delete those too. There is no click and restore programs out there that will do it. Videos are nearly impossible to restore without mega-expensive remastering software that costs in the several $100k+ range. Videos are not like film that is frame-by-frame, they are continuous overlay of one image to the next making them a nightmare to restore.
Hello, you slipped in while I was getting dinner in the oven...
No, actually threading things like master cylinders,so cutting FEMALE inverted threads. I have a mastercool hydraulic flaring kit. And, it is the bomb!Get a Mac or Snap-on double flare kit... They work the best...
The el-cheapo ones usually don't grip the tubing tight enough and the tubing slips in the teeth while you are trying to flare it....
I would refer this one to @toolmanmike ...
Well, we are in the red zone now with my company. In about 6 weeks or so, it will all likely implode and I will be unemployed. They put everyone on share trade blackout yesterday.
No worries though, I have bankrolled 2 years income in reserve just for this event and I will gladly take the Spring and early Summer off as I decide what to do next.
I have a few companies courting me, and one that wants me to be their Chief Operating Officer/Chief Scientific Officer if they are successful with securing funding. Plenty of spot consulting work with others if I want it.
It is far past time to turn a new page...but for now I am holding fast just to get through the Winter. No reason to sit idle during cold weather. At least in the Spring I can enjoy cruising the GTS and working on the SRT while I consider my options.
In the mean time, I will do the job and work on my images in my free time until the situation evolves to its inevitable conclusion.
Good evening …..im not sure if its morning or night.Good morning.
I am totally depressing myself by looking at old pics that I have been saving for no reason.
Time sure goes by and has no mercy on a girl. If I had known what I know now about my own life, I would have done things differently.
Oddly enough, I don't really have any regrets about the stuff I did, I have more regrets about the stuff i didn't do because i was scared or just thinking small.
I should have been more daring, it's not like the things I chickened out of were life risking, and even if they were, I should have just jumped off the deep end. What's the worst that could have happened...... I'm still here
