Stop in for a cup of coffee

Now that I think of life in terms of "how many summers ago" It really makes me think that I should do body work, because body work is a tough gig in the winter.

The chemical stripper doesn't even work right in the cold. My stripper is all thin and runny yet it feels like I just bought it ...... time, what a *****.

Yeah bodywork in the Winter is tuff, everything is cold and takes a lot of energy to get things up to temp so the chemicals work right.

Just finish rebuilding two 67 Dart fenders, welding, prep, sandblasting, and jamb painting. It's like twice the work as it is in the Summer time just overcoming the elements this time of year.

Ready to pack it in and head to Florida for the rest of the Winter . . .

She is hooked on it, definitely will be getting more in a week or two. Still have one bag left.

Morning.
Raini pontificating about life makes me think about a customer the other day.
Scruffy, wore out shoes and grubby clothes. he’s loaded.
and doc just told him to get his affairs in order. he’s buying old cars,as many as he can get his hands on. Wants my fargo too.
i could call it a wash and collect my money back, and move on.

makes me think, turning 56 this year, how much time do i actually have left?
Say 70 is my year to kick off, thats 14 years to finish my projects.if i dont start any more.
Do i want to build stuff or just drive em around?

Know what? I dont care. When my time comes it wont matter.
Im going to keep going, doing what i do,and try to keep it interesting. no point worrying about the future.

Wow. Just below freezing here.
Today i am knocking apart a chevy squarebody front end, for lowering kit. At buddy’s shop. Guessing at what i need for tools.should be a fun day.
