Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had an interesting day.

I went for a hair revamp and when I came out of the shop a guy was standing by my car. He just looked at me with a blank stare as I walked directly towards him. Then I went around the passenger side to the back and opened the deck lid and put my bag and stuff in the trunk. The whole time here is staring at me with a deer in headlights look.

I finally looked his direction at his feet and said "can I help you"

He said "is this really your car!" I looked behind me and around me sarcastically and said "yup".

He wanted to know all about it. So we got to talking and he mentioned that he has a 68 Malibu chevelle car. He mentioned that it was being stored behind a shop in a container thingy. As soon as he mentioned the place I asked if he knows the guys there and I named them, and he said yes, and then he asked me if I knew some other guys and I do.

So once we got the introductions out of the way, we went to see the 68 chevelle thingy.
Total badassary, 454 / auto ( I don't know Chevy)
He backed it out of the container and reached over to unlock the passenger door. I got in and we went around the yard (no plates, so couldn't go on the street) after it warmed up, he did a bad *** burnout. I can still hear the compression ringing in my ears now. Talk about bad ***, and it's even a chebbie.

My younger son has bought laptops in batches and is converting the good ones over to win 10 and flipping them....

He's found downloads for win 10 for free... He's been experimenting with the different keys and has found that you don't want to enter the key before you download and load the operating system as it will then only let you use the home edition... If you pass up entering the key before loading the operating system and enter the key after, you can get Windows 10 Pro loaded that has more features activated...
as long as they are authentic windows versions. Watch out for counterfeit and or stolen windows editions. Microsoft has been pretty good at tracking those and can shut them down remotely.

I’m actually contemplating switching to Lenox as an operating system

I dont care for win10.
When i got my new laptop it had 8, and when i first lit it up, it loaded 10 automatically. Loaded a bad version, straight from msoft.

Once I get my Linux install back on my laptop no Windows for me. Actually no nothing at the moment though.

So I have a guy driving up today to look at my 50s Chevy truck bed. Hopefully he’ll buy it and I can get rid of it.

Everyone is always drooling over tri 5s when it comes to cars from the 50s.

The only car that has always stood out from the crowd to me of 50s cars, is the 54 Kaiser Manhattan. That is a luxury car, big time and captures a very opulent 50s style that existed and quietly disappeared.

Only Kaisers I recall
