Stop in for a cup of coffee

I’ve got lots too, and closer. But not sure if that is allowed. Lots of grills, but don’t recall seeing open wood fires

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission....

Especially once the fire's already going... How you gonna stop it????

Not here unfortunately.
In the navy it is, or was when I was in.....
Second class Petty Officer, not many around.....Either you discharged out, or moved up to E6.
The high year tenure initiative mandates that a petty officer second class may only have 16 years of service. If a PO2 fails to make petty officer first class within that time, the petty officer is involuntarily separated for not meeting advancement requirements.

I was a 1st class FTM.

I am a fire controlman, a petty officer of the United States Navy, my work is the operation and maintenance of the weapons aboard the fighting ships of the Navy, I am required to know, operate, and maintain intricate scientific precision instruments.

To do this, I must have a thorough knowledge of the work of an electronics technician, machinist's mate, gunner's mate, machinery repairman, operations specialist, and engineman.

My aim in life is to know my job; to know everything that pertains to practical gunnery and ordnance.

As long as there is any operation or piece of equipment I do not fully understand, my job is not complete.

In the event of war, I must be prepared for any emergency.

I must be capable of and competent to fill my station, or perform any operation in the weapons department of my ship; to assume command of, spot, or control the fire of any battery.

In addition to being competent to perform any operation, I will strive to know my maintenance duties so well that I may maintain the battle efficiency of my ship, even on a darkened ship, under enemy fire. This to the end … that the ship may fight as long as she is afloat!

That is what I did.....till I did not...:BangHead:
FCs maintain the control systems used in aiming and firing weapons on all equipped ships. Complex computers, electronics, and electrical and hydraulic equipment are required to ensure the accuracy of guided missile, surface, and anti-aircraft fire control systems. FCs are responsible for the operation, routine care, and repair of this equipment, which includes radars, computers, weapons-direction equipment, target-designation systems, gyroscopes, and rangefinders.

Did not know I was so smart!!!

Im sure you know this....But Do Not put anything greasy in the blast cabinet........
Varsol bath, brake cleaner so its dry. Asked a buddy to pick up glass bead, brings crushed glass instead. Said it was cheaper. Its garbage.

Going to Rudy's for some tacos later. I'll have to have a mug or 2 of Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat.

Is that the same guy who has the website showing many of the air cleaners?

Cheryl and I will be there. Going to haul the car out one last time.
No we aren't selling it anytime soon. Just not a fan of a two day drive with trailer.
Understood.
It will be a lot more fun driving the car to Carlisle.
:)

That I haven't seen. Nick is from Canada and has a shop that repairs cars, especially muscle cars, builds engines and runs them on his dyno. Nick's Garage
