I am getting quite a list. I just got off a live chat with a guy from New Zealand.
You realize I really don't fully understand what that means. LOL.
is that something on the phone or web-based text service ?

When is it, like exact dates?

But I will get there on Wednesday, have a vehicle to drop off near Hoppys place, about 30 min. from the show grounds. Then go to show on Thursday, Would be coming thru Colorado , if picking you up on Monday... I stay at Rays place, but that is up to him....Then leave on Sunday morning, show has pretty much done by then. We can work out getting you to a Hotel if you want, I stay at the show, which is most of the fun IMO! Just bring a sleeping bag, and pray for no rain.

YouTube. Jessie was live on a video and you send him messages like we do here. He reads them and talks about them. Nicks Garage has one every Friday night. Too bad it can't be a 2 way video chat. Lol

Hey, Rani, you going to Carlisle this year? I can pick you up on the way if you want....Serious..
That is a loaded question for me to answer.
If I say no, then I'm going to get nasty grams from some who seem to be watching carefully what I do and be crying and accusing me of being elusive and all kinds of off the wall ****.

But, no.

I won't be there because that is too close to a previous engagement. I will be going to tomorrowland again. I already booked tickets last year and they are very hard tickets to get and very expensive.

Back here in the shop..... almost ready to fire the duster. I'm going to try to make a YouTube video of the startup because I'm really excited about it.

My new year's resolution coming true and its not even spring yet

Forgot to order my outer pinion bearings. Doh!
I can connect to the parts store and order tomorrow.
Wife doing taxes, last year was my highest parts bill to date.

It's down to going through and plugging all the open vacuum ports on the intake and carb. Being 76 vintage, there's a lot.

Then I need to install battery cables and connect the starter and go pull a starter relay off one of my other cars.

That's car building right there, shamelessly parting your other cars to get the one in the shop running. LoL

From a literal science perspective you'd think land travel would be quicker than airplane travel.

On land it's the circumference of the earth, by air it's the circumference of the earth plus 30000 feet so that circumference will be significantly larger and is a much longer distance to travel.

That could make me go do the math

Not ground vs flight, but here’s some answers on why fly at certain altitudes.

True...but it’s hard to travel at 570 mph on the ground like you can at 30,000 feet. And there is that whole over the ocean thing to consider.

The distance maybe somewhat farther, but much faster on an aircraft and no change in terrain from land to sea involved.

Besides, on land you can only travel where the roads are...and they are never in a straight line to where you want to go.

Half a mucho nacho.

I have a question. just dawned on me. My 76 dart sport rear axle. 8.25 limited slip.
the diff cover has no typical rubber plug. It has a big plug in the housing though,1/2” drive ratchet to remove it. It strikes me as odd.

Rainy,

I do not know who that person is (people), but **** them. Seriously, they can piss off. You have nothing to prove to anyone, if you can’t go, you can’t go. You owe no one an explanation. I met most of the gang last year in Carlisle, they’re a good group. And what was down right hilarious to me is that the person who gave me the most **** about not making it to Carlisle before, hasn’t ever shown up himself.

So if anyone gives you **** too much, give them the middle finger and skip over or block them.
But back to you, if you ever can go, it’s worth it at least once. It was actually one of the most memorable events in recent times for me. And I got to share it with my son. Which made it that much cooler.

Pretty common, my Jeep and trucks are all the same way, I actually prefer that over the other style.
