Watching the tellie.
More work showed up this evening. Old red tractor for a 12 volt conversion. Think its a massey ferguson.
Case is red too. Dunno, it was a flash as it went by the house.

Finished up the fence around pool on rental.
Pulled up about 60ft of Hostas . I think that's how it's spelled.
Leafy green plants with white trim around edges.
Good ground cover.
Using them as boarder on driveway where I'm doing the brick.
Sp ent yesterday edging the one side with blue stone I had laying around.
.post some picks tomorrow.

Generic pick.

These, yes Hostas.
Pictures to big, we have them in front around the trees

I beleive they came into american gardens in the 1940s.
Brought a few down here from where I grew up. Usually easy to grow in shade.
Now I have other stuff growing I've been reducing the amount in my yard (I usually find them new homes).

The white edged leaves are nice. We had some similar to those until the deer made them into miniature hosta. LOL.

They need part shade . The name is Alb-marginata (hosta)

So will be cutting a panel of 1/4” mohagany plywood to fit behind back seat of chevelle. Will cut down some noise and dust i think. Have to locate fuel pump in trunk as well,as there is no good location under car.its in way of tailpipes when they finally land.

I was always afraid of fuel vapor buildup with pump in trunk....

Speaking of the behind seat panels and package trays, what do you guys recommend to use as replacement wood for those?
MDF?
Hardboard?
particle board?
or just plain old plywood?

its not that important to me, but my exhaust system consists of about 3 inches of pipe out of the manifold. basically underneath my feet.
there are a lot of holes in the trunk floor and kind of need something that will keep the fumes back there since I took out the rear seat.

Just a little ol duster.
the old one is intact but really just...****.
I just read the details on that link. It says that one is chip board. and ships flat. I must have got mine from someone else. It is heavy cardboard like the one that was originally in it. Was rolled up when I got it. I think I picked it up at Carlisle, so didn't have to pay shipping.

yeah, I think I will just get the hardboard and just make my own panels. I need to go to home depot anyway to buy sheetmetal and square tube to make my new trunk flood

Got a steel retailer out there? Or maybe even a sheet metal shop? You might be able to dig through their remnant pile to find bits of steel it a reduced cost
