Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good Morning everyone. Got the trans back in the car, just loose but in anyway. My boy came over, we had supper and hung out. It was very nice. I will finish up the car tonight. I did notice the balloon side of the converter was dry. The ring gear side was wet and inside of the bell also wet. My theory is the fanning effect has a slight vacuum draw on any leak while running. The leaking oil slung around by ring gear. The drips from residual as it ran down to the bottom of bell, pooled and dripped out. I don't know, but I have seen crazy things flywheels can do to oil leaks on outboard marine engines. Fingers crossed.

Morning slept 9 hours last night, long day I was tried.

So, you are bailing on us for MITP Craig? I know house closing is very close though, just picking...

Yep sorry doesn't look like we'll make it this year. Somebody else will have to keep John in line.

@Sublime one

So, will there be drawing straws for that job, last one there, or someone volunteering with Craig not being there? Who is watching John!

I’m trying to find tires locally for mine. Proving to be difficult. I don’t want turf tires, I want ag style . Tired of spinning getting up the hill
I did front tires on my mower last year. Should get back tires before long. Not doing big hills, but spins out on a few spots.

Off to check on the apple trees.
Got them 'deer proofed'?

Always liked those R/Ts, hope it gets on the road quick for you. Got a little snow last night, not having to go out in it is nice.

Speaking of the behind seat panels and package trays, what do you guys recommend to use as replacement wood for those?
MDF?
Hardboard?
particle board?
or just plain old plywood?
I glued and taped mine for years.
Finally bought a repop from DMT.

One day I'll get around to putting it in....

its not that important to me, but my exhaust system consists of about 3 inches of pipe out of the manifold. basically underneath my feet.
there are a lot of holes in the trunk floor and kind of need something that will keep the fumes back there since I took out the rear seat.
That's almost the same as dumping the exhaust straight to atmosphere.
Pushing exhaust gas into a 14.7 psi wall doesn't make an engine happy.

I am blown away how fast it is and I took it easy since it is just the e brake for brakes. Be interesting when I get the lines on. 121K miles. Interior is actually nice also.
