Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Morning, coffee is on, need to get some mowing done before it gets to hot. I need to get back to Carlisle on of these days.

Good morning, 94 for the high and sunny, carb is going on today as long as my wife don't interfere with plans, shifter is going to be completely done as soon as I look at my lokar kick down set up .
No Monday morning blues here today, just some old rock and roll.

Has a new replacement weld in cat that is fairly new in good shape. Pipe came off right in front of it. Should be able to weld one on. Going to look for one now. Man my ears are sti ringing. J had us over and holy crap had to be 50 mortors of assorted sizes. Good time got home around Midnight. Never stay out that late. Harley was really into it bunch of kids she played with and Danny, Stan and his sister and kids were invited also. Very surprised the horsed did not freak out. Harley loved them! Was surprised by that.
A couple years back, my collectors on my Jeep came loose and did that. I couldn’t hear for days.

So apparently my wife is suddenly onboard with the classic car thing more than ever. I think I’m gonna have to have her submit to a dna test, make sure she’s not been alien bodyswapped lol.

she’s asked to do Hot rod power tour this august!

And I’ve been given a challenge... she wants her own classic, American muscle car. Some sort of classic Camaro/Trans-am/Firebird, exact details to be narrowed later.

I think what’s happened is she finally is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on the dart as well.

One picture is a factory photo and the other picture I took of my uncles unrestored 69...thought it was neat to come across

Decided to take a break on the driveway project . It's about 80% finished.
Put down a set of ramps to get the Valiant out.
Thinking about brining it to Carlisle.
Been working on other projects . I found this for ground cover. See how it holds up.

Being a veteran of many a 1000 mile days I don’t know how he can still do it. I drove right at eleven hundred miles in one day last month and I was dog meat for two days trying to heal up. Tim has to have an iron butt!
Guess being nuts helps!

Longest I’ve done in a single day with no overnight Or nap stops is about 1300 miles, here to Denver. Did that a total of 4 times. I’ve done 8-9 hundred miles here to Florida and to other beaches since but nothing has topped that yet.
