Stop in for a cup of coffee

Can't open that either. I refuse to conform and join. Oh, well. it saves me money

Well I am done with the easy part. Got romex pulled and Sheetrock up. Now it is time to wire in all the receptacles. I am really rethinking how many box’s I hung all of a sudden. Did all the circling lights last night and cannot raise my arms this morning. Working overhead just sucks especially with bifocals. Going to wire the bar this morning!

I hear you on the bifocals. Wish they made ones that you can rotate the lenses for overhead work and front sight post acquisition

I had my optometrist make me a set for shooting, I call them my Mr Magoo glasses. No transition same grind over whole surface. But they were actually a pain to use as when wearing them I could not write in my log books. But I could darn sure see front sight post!

No way I can do ovehead work anymore.

Hey Tike any one sell bales of Barley straw by you? I need a few bales for the pond.

Here is pix of the bar area, the green wall is the bathroom. I will have a nice long bar and a pool table. I am trying to get over to see MeMike this trip but not sure it is gonna work out. Lots to do here yet. I added a pix of our kitchen at present!

Optometrist tried to convince me i needed bifocals. I said 50% of my work is overhead, and my neck is bad enough as it is. I would have less issue with 2 pairs of glasses. Im getting by with my readers.

Hey is that all the upstairs space you use to have...before Jodi repurposed it?? :D

Morning all moving a 27-ton pile of 2–4-inch river rock in front of the house today finally.
Yes we have a skid loader. 25 degree slop 40 yards down so have some maneuvering to do.
Good Morning!!

I just got a set of bifocals, do not like them at all. I did pick up these semi bifocal sunglasses last year for carlisle for Mitch and I work pretty well.

I found that Foster Grant makes "Muti Focus" readers... they're the bomb. Like progressive lenses. 3 strengths top, middle, bottom. Bottom is reader strength and then I think 1/2 and 1/4 ...

I don't have to take them off and on constantly

Not funny!
Here is a pix looking down at our temporary master bedroom and Jodi’s office. To Craig’s point I used to have an abundance of storage space upstairs on the mezzanine, now I have approx 11 ft by 25 ft and that’s it. Not sure how it happened? all I remember was saying yes dear. That’s the last thing I remember. The apartment upstairs turned into a two bedroom, full kitchen, washer dryer, living room etc. My plan was a small bathroom, a kitchenette and a bunk bed. The rest was storage, you know the essentials, hoods, grills, fenders. What was I thinking?

Funniest pick up line I ever actually heard was in the USN. Friend and I went to the mall and there is this smoking woman with a little girl and the girl is telling Mommy she wants a baby brother, Darrell without skipping a beat goes to the woman and say "I CAN HELP YOU WITH THAT!" I lost it.

Reaching over head for over 30 seconds i catch on fire down both side from my shoulders to my hips, can't do that anymore, I did electrical work for almost 5 years, maintenance another 15, and hung and finished sheet rock back in 85 to 87. I am 64, but I can't do that chit no more..for a living anyway.
I will be here all year bud, get your well needed rest so you can get more work done. We can do it another time, hell, I would like to drive up to your place soon

:rofl::rofl:.. omg.. you got me this morning

I hear ya. Twisting my head and craning my neck to use the needed section of lens doesn't work for me in a lot of situations - same reasons.
I have a cheap presciption reading glasses for reading and any job that like brakes and under the car.
My old reading glasses are now about the right strength for the computer.

Interesting.
I have a set of $$$ progressives they talked me into but only find them useful in limited circumstances. Too much distortion and the head position thing for stuff like running the table saw and they're not safety rated anyway...

Have them put the Bifocals on the top as well. It works!

I sold bifocal safety glasses on the tool truck. The older guys bought them up. 3 or 4 different strengths. Uvex was the brand I believe.
