So, question of the day. 52⁰ supposedly, mostly cloudy, but 22mph wind from west. To kilt or not to kilt ??? Hmmmm

It is a full, true family tartan from my Great Grandmother's side. 9yrds of wool. This wind is the issue. I got so cold yesterday cleaning the garage and being outside, hate to purposely set myself up for a rough day again.

Any recommendations on mini starters for the slant? Seeing several brands and different year ranges. Don't want to spend any more than I have to, but wondering if any that won't work at all, some better, or any total junk?

Never used one. From what I hear ,like most parts today hit and miss.

Had a Chrysler 53005984 mini on my Slant. Worked great. Application transfers to the SB so I'm going to use it on the 273

I got a delco for the Fargo/360. Works good. Going on 3 years?

Moving along. Panel for headlight switch done and welded in. Now the effin cluster. Going to be lots of pieces to get it the way i want.

Well between posting pictures of stuff I'm selling.
The crew have the head gaskets replaced. And it's running again.
I decided not to put the Weiand intake and valve covers on. I may just put them up for sale also.

Glad she's up and running.

OK.. trying to get things sorted. Seems there are a few things that I've misplaced....

Help me here with the translation from the TSM to Electronic ignition.

Looking at the wiring harness and translating what goes where. I'm in good shape except for I do not have the below.. or at least I can't find them

Alternator Voltage Regulator

Ignition Horn Relay

Starter Relay

Photos
Back of the Alternator...

Ignition Horn Relay Wires

Starter Relay wires

Alternator wires

Does the more modern Alternator negate the need for the separate regulator?

Thanks

Waiting on a negative cable and body ground strap... came home and hooked a battery up with jumper cables.. couldn't resist.. motor turns over by the key :) have taillights, no brake or reverse lights or dash :( radio works but i broke the antenna wire.. will figure if i can get a new one. and heater/wipers work but the heater motor sounds angry about it. 46 years sitting with no electricity and i'm happy some of it works :) oh.. no dome light.. have to fix that.. will be starting it for sure next week :)
Although it didn't sound great cranking, i'm sure clamping a jumper cable to a header bolt prolly doesn't give the best connection..

No wonder we get along, we can also rock a traditional clan tartan! I am rocking my everyone’s a bit Irish on St Patrick’s day except for the Scott’s, we are still Scottish! And yes we still have land in Scotland!

It has begun... Nice sunny day, so I got the mower out. Other than a slight delay pulling fuel up, it fired up and ran good. Not a full cut yet. Just mowed the dogs area and crunched sticks in a few other areas. All good for now, but should get shoppin for new belts and probably blades.

Good news and looking forward in seeing it running.
