exhaust Saturday huh? --family thing today --wife is driving so I can have a bevy or two --- I imagine I'll be exhausted later...

I was at 245 way back - I'm at 226 this morning... I have no idea where that puts me... but you can have the biggest loser title..:D
 
Hopefully today is drama free had my fill this week for sure. Be a good weekend to get the pop tuned just right, still needs a bit. I really need to bust out the cash and get a adjustable timing light. Hey harbor freight has the tork wrenches on sale for 9.99 if any one needs them. We took some and put them on the calibration machine we had in Cali and they are actually a bitt better than the snap on ones the tolerances were tighter +/- 2%! Got a 1/4 and 3/8 when I was down there yesterday, needed the 1/4 for a while been borrowing deans.

man - I haven't even been back out in the garage - well, 'cept to f with the scoot... SO much still to do on the ol' Mope...
 
I need to be rich and retired so I can get something friggin' done... yea, not holding my breath waiting on either to happen...
 
so - has HF gotten better over the years? I remember swearing them off years ago - - to say they pissed me off would be an understatement..
 
I am poor and retired and never get anything done, start them but have this issue getting finished! LOL
 
I bought a set of deep well impacts from them - one of them essentially blew up the second time I used it.. I went to Sears and got a set that I still have to this day and never bought from HF again

Got to watch what you buy from them, Their hand tools and sockets have gotten pretty good and lifetime guarantee. Got a cheap breakdown set in the dart and truck from them just in case. I use stuff that cannot get you killed if it breaks. Not a hell of a lot of choices around here even the sears sucks.

Really? I have a set from them I beat the hell out of for sure and no problems so far. Their air tools are lacking but good for a I will rarely use it tool. Have a da from them that works pretty well, did the Dart with it and it is still fine.

I should have looked when I was there it was just a quick stop and get just what I wanted and go day. Prob what can really go wrong with a timing light?
