Stop in for a cup of coffee

One thing that is a good buy are their cut of wheels for the Makita. Ten pack for 5 on sale. I have used good quality ones and they do the same as say dewalt.

Their air hoses suck for sure at least the rubber ones. Sanding disks and belts are ok, I did buy a big 14" cut off saw for metal from them for a one time project a while ago and the thing is a beast so far.

Once and a while I get a coupon for 30% off the order, that one can be dangerouse for sure.

Cut off wheels for 5 bucks? ! I've spent 60 in cut of wheels locally just for my dart......

you know - I honked up my old Ryobi drill a couple of weeks ago... sucks too - talk about old faithful, the thing is easily 20 years old...

My tools are all over the place, snap on, mac, sears, starret, HF and some unidentifiable stuff. Just went through the box to straighten it out filled two boxes with extra tools that are either dups or stuff I almost never use. Now that I rearranged the box I am freaking lost finding stuff in which drawer!

Got a 1/4 and 3/8 when I was down there yesterday
Got both of them when I put my motor together. No complaints. I have a 1/2" drive too, Matco I think

I need to be rich and retired
Not counting on either any time soon...

I went to Sears
Once upon a time they were up there with the tool truck brands. Craftsman is Chinese crap now too. and HF has replacement warranty, so pick your poison

so something light an adjustable timing light would be a safe bet?
I have a Craftsmman. $70 IIRC. First one worked great out of the package. Second time I picked it up it was dead. Went back and exchanged it...

Actually all I use now and some I got at carlise last year. The 4" grinding wheels and flap wheels stand up pretty well also. I am always using them.

I did pick up a die grinder from them for the disk brake mods, seems pretty good but uses a lot of air. I might pick up a 90 degree air drill from them when it goes on sale borrowed Deans three times his year.

yea, I have no tool brand loyalty (sorry Mike!!) - if it works - it goes in the main toolbox.. if it's ****.. it goes in the other one - if it's real ****.. tag sale! LOL

On veterans day they give a 25% off with a ID card, never seem to remember getting there on that day though........

I hear you Mike, some how I have a but load of spare 3/8 snapon stuff. I am very loyal to their ratchets absolutely love them.

Speaking of snapon, New Holland has the same tools made by the same manufacturer with their brand on it around half of snapons price fully guaranteed. My core tools are all good but the hardly use it stuff is all over the place.

I bet I have 100 sockets I could throw away and never miss... certain ones I go to to get something done - the others just sit there...

I actually bought a top and bottom box from a buddy a few years ago just to put the friggin overflow in.. it was driving me crazy having all the BS tools in with the good ones.. crazy huh?

Picked up a small set of ratcheting box wrenches from TS for the truck, been using the dam things daily in the shop love them.

I have a crap sears top and bottom for the metric stuff and a lot of the weirs stuff hardly used like pullers, dist wrenches tap and die sets etc, works for me.

Just went out and did a little primer touch up. Getting ready to start taping things off.

seen my neighbors with the Olds' yesterday. They had just returned from Carlisle. Said the GM show is crap compared to Mopar and Ford...
