Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wow what a morning three hours de bugging the laptop. Ben never send me that "link" again! LMAO

I've been re-downloading the info that I lost in my crash last week.... Was up late downloading, so I slept in and hung out with the pup this morning - he's feeling neglected.... I gave him a flea bath a few days ago and it looks like he's getting a rash from it. I will try another shampoo next bath and see what happens...

I need to rename some of the music folders and files so they will download to an external hard drive. If the name is longer than 100 characters, it rejects them... And some of the names that download from the internet are soooooo loooooonnnngggggg..... I need to get in and abbreviate some of them to see if I can get more of them to save on the "backup"....

I've got all the mymopar service manuals saved as zip files and pdf files. Then saved all of the master tech bulletins...

Got all the download programs that I need for a fresh restart, so if I do another recover I can do a more streamlined job. All of the driver updates from my computer manufacturer that are not in the standard edition of the OS... I already have the max ram that it can support... Not bad for an original Windows 7 series computer....

The manufacturer's OS has some software for their support, which is now way over and is a PIA when it tries to do automatic updates... And it doesn't unload easy, you try and it comes back on the next restart.... :icon_fU: :BangHead:

Not to mention that the computer geek that helped me fix it, told me that my limiting factor on my system is my hard drive and hard drives are pretty cheap.... Hmmm.... New hard drive, fresh system load, streamline the updates, and I will have a badass machine....

Stupid *** neighbors. Had my daughter screaming all night. They were launching mortar shells and other fireworks literally as late as 4 am......

That's when you run open headers at 8 AM after village quiet hours are over and they can't complain about the noise.... You know that if they were up that late, they are asleep early in the AM....

Back in college, I studied for a test the next day. I was up until 2AM and then went to sleep. The guys in the room next to me came in at 4 AM all loud and woke up half the floor, including the floor RA... We all asked them to quiet down many times, and they wouldn't (they were too drunk and cranked up)...

So when I got up for my test, I waited until 8:01 AM, I CRANKED Boston at 100 watts out of 4 speakers including one set with 15" woofers, and blasted them out of bed (they were on the other side of the wall from my room, next to me)... I had the best stereo on campus and they could hear me on the other side of campus... The RA even thought it was classic that I woke them up with pounding hard bass music when they were still drunk/hungover for keeping us up late when we had a test... He couldn't yell at me for being loud, as quiet hours were over, he was on my side...

They didn't do that again....

I wouldn't have minded if I didn't have a big test that day....

yup .....you know it!!!

I have been up since 5 but it takes me like 10 minutes to wake up and actually come alive. then I need another 10 minutes to stretch and scratch. and then finally get up

Like a baseball player???? :poke:

Morning folks. Pancakes sound like a good idea. With a big pile of bacon!

There's a polish grocery store near Midway airport that makes fresh sausage and bacon in their deli each morning... Delicious...

I need to go get me some of that soon... As soon as the farm stand gets their green peppers in... Then I can get fresh sausage and rolls at the deli, then fresh green peppers and sweet onions to put on them... The lady at the farm stand says green peppers should come in a couple weeks....

it is a high of 102 here ......sure a change of gear from when we were posting our morning temps 6 months ago and most were below freezing LOL

We're at 76° fight now... We were at 62° earlier this morning, awesome sleeping weather... Open windows with fan...

We've had a nice cool streak here for the past two weeks, with only about 3 days of hot and humid in there.... I have the AC turned off in the house....

yea - I hear ya - I quit so long ago I have no idea how long it's been - best "time line" I can give is, they were $1.25 a pack at the time...

They are about $10 per pack here... Cook County "sin tax" included....

I hear it's really hard to quit smoking. I have a friend and he is going crazy, he is a month off the smokes and he tells me that his head can just explode when he gets a nicotine craving. I try to be a supportive friend but I have no idea because I have never even tried to smoke.

After seeing my friend bounce off the walls and act like a animal, I am glad I don't smoke LOL

This is from the 70's when you could smoke in public and on planes...

Open headers wouldn't phase them.... I don't think any of their vehicles have exhausts

Ha....We had a neighbor hood party to get to know each other and two of us have lived here forever. He kept making comments to put me down. I rose above it and just looked pretty!

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.... :)
