Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wolfie...The rumor was that you were going to show up at Carlisle. Did I miss you somehow?

Rani....you need to gather up those rust free parts and bring them to Carlisle. I did buy a pair of Arizona rust free fenders for my truck.
one time I sanded a fender down to bare metal and then I decided it was too denty for my taste so I threw it in a pile behind the barn in bare metal. The next summer I decided to scrap the pile and I kid you not, that fender was out there for a little over a year and barely had surface rust spots and you could still see a lot of bare metal.

I would have done it even that low just to get rid of it. I definitely got to much sun yesterday, It was hot.

Morning OMR!

how can I forget a fellow 75 dart owner.

One of the main reasons I bought my 75 dart is because I was drooling over yours.
And I need to get on it. I did buy a really nice set of wheels for it. Now I don't have to do mine. 1 step closer

All I picked up was some cut off wheels and some burs and the throttle cable I melted.

Around here if you start sanding to the bare metal by the time you get to the other end of the panel the part you just did minutes ago already started to rust.

No I wanted to but life got in the way again. Today is take the mom ca't and the last of her kittens to their new home.

I sold 4 Cragar SS knockoffs for $40 and 2 big boxes of Mopar and Hot Rod Magazines for $20 And nothing else

It is always good to get together. Actually it is pretty easy for the ones in the 100 mile radius.

around here if you trap the moisture you get in trouble but as long as it the dry air gets to it then you are ok.

Like trunk floors get rusty if it gets wet under the rubber mat and stays sealed in. I always leave trunk lids popped for that reason because even if the back window leaks or something, as long as it can breathe, it will dry out.

Same for engines, if you leave an engine outside with the heads on and it gets water trapped in the cylinder, big trouble.
But you can leave engines out with the heads off and even if it gets rain or a bit of snow, it will dry out right away and be fine.

I might sell my SBP slotted mags ...only have a pair anyways.

I was saving them for my valiant but I might sell that too because a local guy wants it and he offered more than it's worth and I am having money problems right now and it would take a car off my plate.

SB Wheels all went. The guys I was with had 3 sets.

Yes they do. Mine got hit by a rake that was supposed to be put away! Lucky it did not shred the tire.

A cool thing my Buddy did was this young kid and his father came and he wanted a Challenger emblem. Alan just gave it to him. It was clear that the dad was not a car guy and was just bringing his 12 year old because he had an interest in cars. He GAVE him every emblem he had there and he had at least 5. A Charger a Road runner and others beside the Challenger...and he said to the kid here they are yours just keep the hobby alive. It was really cool.

i never thought health insurance would cost so much. It's like they punish you for making more money.

As long as I was a poor college student I was fine but now that I make more, it really went up. And now they are saying the cancer specialist visit is not covered because it was not cancerous and they don't typically cover breast cancer screenings that detailed in women my age so they are trying to say it's not covered.
