Good morning, raining off and on here this week, Friday they are forecasting wind and rain, then sunny for the weekend. Thankfully the powers that be at work haven't decided we should be open Labor Day or the Sunday before.
It's really humid, I've been taking my time cleaning the interior of the Fury, getting into every nook and cranny with a toothbrush.
A funny thing happened at work last night. A party of 30 locals, the husband put together a surprise dinner for the wife's birthday. Word was out that the wife was being a real ***** around the hotel. When she came in, the waiter who was working the party with me said when he worked downtown he waited on her and she was the meanest lady in town. Well when I went to take her order, somehow I got my words mixed up and instead of "order" I said, "would you like to "divorce" now? I apologized and said I don't know how that word came out of my mouth, but she just wouldn't let it go, even when I said goodnight, she said, "I'll be back with my new husband." I thought, c u Next Tuesday.
Vacation's coming up a week from today, I am so ready!!

By the way, OMR's "roast" thread for Ray had some funny comments, just some gentle ribbing, nicely done!

Well, I found my problem was in my browser, so I unloaded and reloaded... :mad:

Now youtube seems to work right - only one test try so far... :D

But I'm having trouble getting the ad blocker back on.... :BangHead:

I wish ...Sitting here in a doctor office while sue gets an eshougus and stomach endoscopy. I hate doc Offices. Her app was. At 11.00. Came back to prep at 11.15....Just now took her back for the procedure. 2 friggin hrs waiting on prep.
I REALLY need a ..:wtf::BangHead:
 
Ok, just got the ad blocker back on...

You need to unload browser - restart...

Reload browser - restart...

Then install adblocker....

You can't install ad blocker right after the new load of browser without a restart in-between...

I've always said, when Drs make me wait unreasonable times, that I would send them a bill for my IMPORTANT Time.
They act like their time is worth more, or some such Crap !!!:wtf:

revenge - when his car breaks down and the mechanic "can't" fix it for a day or three... gets expensive quick..
 
I hate how they're not accountable to get things right. Recently I had some blood work, when I saw the lab order I didn't think the right test was on there, but you don't think to make corrections on a doctors orders. Sure enough, when she FINALLY got back to me today, she didn't have the right tests run, she blamed the lab, I told her uh-uh I noticed the proper box wasn't checked and NO, it's not at all convenient for me to come back and get more blood drawn, but I will.

I actually end up in that position, and doctors or lawyers don't get any breaks either.
Kind of a "what goes around" thing. :D
Now all I have to do is somehow get the gov to make it where mandatory computer insurance is law so I can charge them a shitload more. (because the insurance is paying it)
Our medical system is one giant scam from end to end and now reinforced by law.

yea, no breaks - hell, they should be getting a 15% up charge - - minimum!! you ever get the feeling they schedule appointments just because they can? "ok, need to see you again in two weeks to follow up" :wtf:
 
So im gonna try ebay selling again.... first time in years, any tips/advice

My Brother broke his collar bone years ago, and the doctor told him they needed to put him out for a rebreak and reset but when he got the bill there were bills from two other doctors also (almost 4 times what the cost was supposed to be)
It listed their charges as "consultation" and my Brother told them if the doctor didn't know what he was doing and needed the help of two other doctors he shouldn't have taken the job.
He wouldn't pay the extra charges for consultation and they told him they were going to turn it over to collections.
Well, he told them to F off, they sent it to collections and a couple of years back it finally cleared from his credit.
It was the principal, and he just wasn't going to go along with it even if it did go on his credit report.
