I could write one: 'How to survive as a foreigner on an american car forum'.

Easiest way ....move to middle America and buy an old dodge. Don't forget to add a dog or cat to tag along with you. Eat lots of burgers and jam out to classic rock.

Fill your house with car parts and watch American Football ....not Futball which is actually soccer and totally not cool. Also remember, NO one knows what the game of cricket is here and no one will be interested.

That's pretty much a GO

Ha ha! Nobody knows cricket here. Only you old Commonwealthers do :) We're not very good at football (it's played with your feet, you see) either.

Yea, you can tell where I grew up. Cricket was huge and people drove on the wrong side of the road

thanks Rani - I would have failed Ray's test.. somewhere in the recesses of my cranium I think I knew that - it just wasn't coming to me right now... might have hurt to find it.. LOL

Today should be fun, scrap run this local place is nasty with oil and mud. Have a trailer of scrap and a pickup bed of cans going, a year or so worth plus a bunch of old carbs/wire. Not looking forward to this one.
