Well ain't this interesting, Governor issuing mandatory evacuation starting at 3 pm tomorrow, at that time you'll have stay on the evacuation route. Guess I'll head down to my Mom's real early tomorrow. Chill out in Sarasota for a few days. Funny I didn't think too much about the hurricane factor when I moved here.

*It I think you meant, Ray. First I gotta get rid of this belly ache. Some people with Crohn's have it so bad they can't even work, I'm lucky, for whatever reason it's only bad if I do something stupid and eat the wrong food. Nap time.
 
Good evening folks!

I finally ordered the SS springs and rear gas shocks for the GTS. They are scheduled to be here on Thursday. Looks like the install will be on Saturday!

I also ordered rear new shackles, front eye bolts and U-bolts to make the job easier.

So

I have failed in getting this 725 apart. Unlike the others I have done, this one isn't a C clip. There is no bolt to remove the center pin and the axles won't budge in either direction. Apparently post 72,they went to a non c clip 7.25 with a pressed in shaft. Slide hammer broke trying to budge them.

If no c clips you have bearing retainers on the ends,4" bolt pattern has 4 nuts and 4,5 bolt pattern has 5.they are not pressed in,hope this helps.

And do not take the main caps off of the center section until the axels are out. There is nothing on the pin between the spider gears? Take a second look, there has to be something. I had a few that had them also with the "bolt in" axel bearings.
Oh yeah first in!
