No idea yet what is up. Still need to pull the cluster on the Pop see how I feel in a few hours, right now just looking at steps for the truck the nerf bars will not let me lift it on the lift so they have to go.
He is away for a few weeks, I had a pm from his wife he is fine.
Think these will work.

I quit with the nerf bars after the 2nd set on my 97 GMC rusted out and gave way on me - yea, those are cool
@positron is looking for a sheet to have for his Monte to make pieces. The car is looking really good .

do you really need steps on it? is it lifted?
My question is one on each side or two. Marilyn definitely needs it on the pass side she is 5' even and the truck is prob 18" to the bottom.
Looks like it it does have small blocks, I did not do it though. Serious clearance under it I have no problems working under it on the ground.

I keep a step stool around for when either of the aunts needs to get into my truck...
That would be a hassle for me. Sometimes it is better just to do it, I just use the truck as a old truck, no four wheeling intentionally.

of course the truck has side steps on it too - but neither of them can reach the step without the stool... whatcha gonna do?

it is a hassle.. especially when I have both of them with me! LOL
The ones on there now are full length nerf bars and they are to low to be able to raise the truck on the lift and there are no 6" extensions for the lift available and I do not want to rig anything up or use blocks on the lift pads and I even need a step on my side also.

Tell you what it is a good truck, weighs a lot though yesterday it was 5900 with the trailer at the scrap yard when we left.
