Well the pop went around the block yesterday all is good except a valve cover leak on the pass side. Put those metal core gaskets in but they are not very wide might go back to the regular neopream ones. Ron drove it and was smiling like a school girl!
Kind of surprised they still are available. What they run now? Think my set was 50 or so in the early 80's.

Yup... Thats about right.
They are great for chasing shorts the pointer goes in that direction.
We have short finders that use those gauges. Take out the fuse, plug in a oscillator and run the gauge along the harness until the needle stops moving.
Kind of like a TDR? time domain reflectometer?

Not great but OK. Got 'lectricty back on yesterday, was a total pain the the ***. Got Wife's new car, was another pain in the ***. Anyone here ever buy a car and get out of Dealership in the light? I got there at 10 AM and still left in the dark!
Sometimes I really do wonder how much Grandma saved us in childcare costs.. She watched all three of ours until school age..
