Ultimately decided it wasn't up my alley as I firmed up my desire for an auto.....his car is a hi perf manual with a four ten rear (iirc).

yea - 408ci - a tad warmed up... I remember him saying it was the best RUNNING car he ever drove...

Yes, I mind. LOL
took me a couple years to find that on ebag and then had to find new glass for it! Easy to just go buy one, but I wanted used to match the rest of the chrome.
There was one for sale on here recently and I never saw it marked SOLD....

Hard to tell how it really looks. I tried taking pics of some chrome recently. Sometimes looks better, sometimes worse. Never looks like the real thing! I think I gave 50 for mine, but ended up with about 20 more in a new piece of glass.
 
Guy with the Porsche wants to bring it over here and put it up on the lift. Needs a tire plugged, he can't get too. Of course the Tire Shop told him no... I told him I'm not responsible....
