no- I was just unfamiliar with the word... although, now that I think about it, didn't we do this last year??
Maybe, WE do it every year...A lot of places just have regular doughnuts with a hole in them and all the fillings and assorted other crap they put on them. Fasnachts are really just a simple fried dough ball or sometimes cut in wedges. Dusted with regular or powdered sugar...
