Stop in for a cup of coffee

I got the restoration guy coming in to town to finish the trunk on the 55 Chevy and a couple other minor things.
I'm pretty excited finally be able to get it out and show it.
He closed the shop a month ago. He promised to finish mine, but I really didn't think I'd hear from him. You know how those deals usually go.

Runs a lot better, rebuilt the steering box it is as good as it can get on it. Might add a steering stabilizer. Timing chain made a huge difference in it. Want to rebuild the distrib after Carlisle thing should really move then.

Saw your Barracuda your parting out at the top of the page. 91 replies, how much is left??

a bunch. surprised most of it did not sell. Leaving the glass in till after Carlisle. Weird what sells first. Patch panels are a hit from it and the trim. I am on the positive side of it now.

This winter I'm pulling the front windshield on mine. Funny the previous owner (17yrs) a few years ago sent the dash to Instrument Specialist and spent like 5G restoring the dash.
While the dash was out didn't bother to tape off and re-paint that small three-four inch strip running across just under the window. Still has the dirty faded look....why!!

I hear you. I get stuff done on distributors that is crazy, that's why I don't spend much on cores. Was on the phone yesterday wit a repeat customer that bought a "rebuilt" dual point from someone else. Crazy what was done to it. He is sending it to me to straighten out properly.

Be back in a bit have to pull a part fast on the cuda when it is somewhat cool out.

Slept in a little. Was nice. Long day yesterday. Then discovered the rear trans mount for the dart is broken. Guess i need to pop off the tailhousing and swap on a good one.
Lined up the driveshafts i have for the a bodys, it suprised me which one is longer.

Man sweating already. Found a creative way to ship rocker moldings could not find a tube long enough. Gutter downspouts!
