open it up bet a capacitor is leaking. That's cool stuff. We'll have to figure out what's wrong with the handheld Hawk Tach/Dwell I have here. One is same you've got for sale - it was still in its box never used when I got it.

No idea, the owner wasn't with the car when I saw it. Didn't have time to crawl under it. LOLI wonder what the drive train is in that?
Third step buy more stuff with money of sold stuff....Second step is selling it I guess?
LOL that's how I got them!Third step buy more stuff with money of sold stuff....
I would guess it was matched up decent all the way through. The engine bay looked well done. Not a hack job.I wonder what the drive train is in that?
Gotcha! My Twister has the twin scoops but not functional. Was thinking of making them functional but most of the setups I’ve seen cover up the carb, not the look I’m going for. So keeping with the flat black and yellow color scheme thinking i’ll the same route. Like maybe a fiberglass six pack hood.
That works with the engine number. I'm guessing now the L was probably an E. After 340 there may be an R or P and then 2750 0156, making it a '69.
I'll have to go look for the VIN on the pan rail or the bellhousing rail.
Yeah i’m with ya, mine is in no way original. Was a /6, not anymore! About the only thing at this point that’s original is most of the body, paint and glass!Nice you have a Twister, I like those. Since mine won't be original (/6 car) I will be other things to it, like a shark tooth grill.
I have a lift off. Unless you're wanting to save the 12 pounds for the hinges and 2 pounds on the hood for race purposes, I'd go with one with hinges. They're reinforced a bit stronger than the lift offs. Plus no drilling. A lift off needs drilled for the pegs to keep it onTo be honest, haven’t researched or thought that far ahead yet.
I'll try to clean it up more today. I couldn't peak in the spark plug holes to see if the pistons may be the original dome type, but I was told they may be. The engine was rebuilt with a 292 purple shaft and the guy I bought it from didn't have a lot of the details. All the plugs and valves indicate it was running pretty clean, although probably idling rich. I also will clean up around that crack. There should be a P after the 340 to signify that 340's ran on premium fuel because of the 10.5 compression...
I just seen Bill past away, but I am not sure, anyone see anything yet ??

YepKegan B knows his ****... I've been through swap areas with him and he can spot rare parts like an eagle eye...
Bill passed away a few years ago. He has been a Legendary member here since. Google his name.Sad... He was a great guy... I have pictures of him with my oldest son at Mopar Nats when my son was about 5 years old... He was great with kids and my kid took right to him for the pictures...
