Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Stopped in to say good morning and glad to see everyone made it to friday.

Boy that Cali wildfire sure doesn't look good.
That one down in Oxnads area is in the middle of several highly populated areas. Luckily the winds mellowed yesterday and some fixed wing water distribution was allowed. It's even burnin' the Broccolli growin' in the farms. No big loss there  I wonder if it smells as bad when it burns as it does after it's been hit with the flail mower and starts to compost?

Gloomy overcast day with rain but these hounds always brighten my day. They are so closely marked you can’t hardly tell where one ends and the other begins! More dirt work for me today in preparation of big rain events and going to strip all the bracing off my vertical posts on bay two shelter. Ladies class last night was great. Although several were “townies” and made several remarks about being so far out in the country. I then explained they don’t let us have ranges in town.

Absolutely beautifull ! You are a lucky man!!

Soo.. i called Motive.. they are super nice.. guy said no.. that's probably real and vendors get overstock and blow them out. Also... Richmond and Motive have the same parent company but Richmond are all made in Italy while Motive can be from any of like 4 of the cheap countries.... just info that's good to know.

5° above freezing here briefly this morning. Up the road a piece in one of the local Wino areas freezing and somewhat below most of the night. They have strange cold weather procedures in the grapes. They hate frost, when frost is probable they run the rain bird sprinklers, they don't have a problem with their grapes covered in icicles :realcrazy::wtf:

K... that 4.30 gear is on motives discontinued list so they are just blowing them out... ordering one

When water freezes it actually creates a little heat which prevents cell damage to the plants. Tree nurseries do it too. Not intuitive!

Morning, still snowing here and now the weather guessers are saying snow till Saturday morning. Jives with weather channel now at least. Don't mind the snow but didn't need all of November's snow in one storm. Horses are fed dogs had a good romp in the snow so time for Dave to have some breakfast and coffee.

A local helicopter crop dusting outfit used to make substantial $$$ during frost season in the vineyards. Just flyin' around in the dark givin' the grapes a ********

Finally got the used doors painted yesterday. Going to get them on that truck today and get all the emblems in place. Been a Long Week.....
