Since I found out the 383 in the Dart is shot, and I finally got the car home. I'am planning on stripping the car down to nothing and painting it, doing some dent repair, etc. A bunch of the parts only have about ten miles on them (the 727, the master cylinder, waterpump, wheel cylinders, etc.) What can I do to keep these parts fresh and reusable. I figure the car is going to be down for the next two years at least. I plan to go manual also, so I want to sell the 727, but I don't know how long it'll sit before I get rid of it. Any tips??

Thanks

Hello Lars- For small parts a thin coat of light oil stored in a good 5 gallon paint bucket with lid goes a long way. I found a woodworking product called Bloxygen you can use in conjunction. I don`t know how it works but it prevents oxidation. You just squirt it in the can/ bucket before you seal it up. For the big parts, you`re on your own.Good luck! (You don`t play the drums ,do ya?)
