Is there a place that you can send your trim to so they can take out the dents and bends. The pervious owner of my Dart Swinger beat the trim up and it plainly looks like crap now. If so what would be the price? Also, I dont want the trim to be chromed again so take that into consideration. Thank you everyone.

Your trim is likely stainless steel and if you have some time and patience you can probably straighten them yourself. You would then have to sand them smooth and buff them with various compounds on a wheel to bring the shine back. Restoration services are expensive because it is a very labor intensive/time consuming process.

Well how do u suggest I straighten the trim out. I will get pictures today of the trim and it is pretty bad. Another thing... I dont really know how to add pictures on here so give me a while hahaha.

Don`t feel bad, I still haven`t mastered programming the VCR. LOL! You`ll probably have to find or fabricate some steel or wooden dollys that conform to the contour of your mouldings. That will take some time, but once you get it right you can flip your mouldings on their backs and bang the bumps out.Sand them out smooth using progressively finer sandpapers and then take them to the buffer.

Ok I have the pictures but can some one help me on putting them up please? This goes for this thread and the Inner Fender one as well.
