I live in Europe (Switzerland) where almost everything is peaceful and quiet. So one day I stumbled on some street takeover videos on certain social media. I have seen many of those videos (sadly) and the only thing that makes me wonder is how f*cking stupidly retarted some people can be. What is the appeal to trash a car for the amusement of others?? Ah yes, I forgot, these cars are stolen cars. Now imagine you take care of your car, service it as it should be, pay a **** ton of cash for it and then some f*cking stupid as*holes steal it just to trash it. It even makes me furious just writing down these words. They just drift it into poles or sidewalks and if the car doesn't run anymore, they just ******* burn it down nobody cares.

I've read about a wife and her husband in her MR2. They came to an intersection in Tolland, got blocked off and the MR2 got completely destroyed. Not a single body panel was intact afterwards. I would be devastated! But those idiots don't care about things like moral or respect.

Seriously, what the f*ck is wrong over there in the states? Is this kind of event often seen? How do you US-Americans deal with this stuff? Or is this sh*t just pushed on social media and it isn't actually a big deal?

Everyone who thinks takeovers are cool should rethink their morals. Everybody that supports those **** events should get their penises sliced off and everyone that participates (drive the cars) on these events should be found with attempted murder (because of the stupid blokes that stand there thinking it is a briliant idea to be there) and go to jail for at least 15 years. That's how to make your roads safer, Johnny John McBiden.

As far as street shows, it is not entirely an ethnicity thing. It's a stupidity/cultural thing but I've seen wealthy people get caught up in showing off at car shows and night clubs. The results are typically similar.

The things that baffle me the most are how people in cities where problems like this exist continue to vote for certain parties, even while crap like this goes on. The most recent election reflects that.

Do you really think he gives a crap about any of us poor people. As I said earlier nobody cares about anyone else. It's all ME ME ME! Greed has taken over this country. The only way to straighten it out is to put normal working people in charge. It says we the people for the people. Not the rich, the one percent to control our destiny's.

We had open carry here, and you could carry in your car as was also your property. Idiots used to state it your car was an extension of your home. I hated hearing guys state that whom really did not understand or know the law. Even Sheriffs said it!
We have Castle Doctrine as well as being able to protect ourselves and others in danger or in fear of life. Unlike the poor guy who is being charged in NY Subway case for doing so.
But now have Constitutional Carry. Based on right to bear arms. So, no permit required to conceal carry.
When Idiots stated Extension of your home, I would post this, as they had no understanding of the above.

Years ago, back in rural Missouri I had a "guy" walk up the lane to our country home, late one summer afternoon, screaming and yelling. I could see this guy was totally nuts or on really bad dope. Long story short. I go to the house and lock the door. He is slamming into the door, screaming " this is MY house, and i'm coming in". I told him bust the door open and die. Wife was 10 feet over in the office on the phone with sheriff's office dispatcher. When he came around and busted out the window (curtains drawn shut) was when the 12 ga went off. Dispatcher screams "shots fired".
Long story short, the law arrives and hauls his *** off, and I got bitched out by the sheriff and the country prosecutor because I did not kill and I quote "kill the SOB." The doper paid for my damages after he spent a couple of weeks in jail, and the sheriff reminded him just how close he came to dying.

Our place fronted on a co. blacktop but also the Interstate and it was not unusual for someone to run out of gas or have car trouble, (before the cell) and walk to our house or barn.

My wife was bad jumpy for a couple of years after all this.
 
OP... it aint PC and will probably be deleted by the mods, but look at 'who/what' is doing this; it is one particular 'group' of people and a few of the braindead wannabes that (((media))) and MTV have convinced that they too should act like low impulse savages to be cool...
You don't have that sort of problem in your neighbourhood because of the homogeneity of your populace. The EU is trying to rectify that tho....

The New Cops Show OP-Live has cop chases where they end up with totaled Chargers and Challengers pretty regularly on. Almost always a stolen car.
Sad as you know good and well some fools ruined a person's way to get back and forth to work. Insurance pays out so it goes up. Most have a short fall and may owe on the car that is totaled. And in addition, they also have to come up with a new car down payment as well.
If I was a judge, I would bring back work programs and make them work it off to pay full amount in restitution. It is hot in the summer and cold in winter working outside. And when released you pay the balance or sent back! Do it just like when the low lives do not pay their child support.
