I first saw this stripe on a Limelight Duster from SW Florida, now yours, and soon my 73 Lemon Twist Duster....I think that constitutes a trend! I also intend on putting the same hood scoop (probably not the black out hood treatment though) and the Go wing on mine as well.
 
The stripe and black out hood traetment looks great. I remember when these cars were new. I always loved the balcked out hood treatment.
 
Looks GREAT!!! I may be a little biased on this though........

Looks amazing! I love the looks of them on the cudas too!!

What makes the stripe look aggressive is to raise the plane of it right behind the doors. It just seems to look better than straight across the car IMHO.

See how the 70 cuda stripe goes upward behind the doors.

I would agree with that statement, however, you have to follow the body lines on the Duster to make it look right
 
It was hard to fit to an Australian charger :)
