My pal and I got stoned in the garage after going out last weekend and found some duct tape. You see the result... I thought about it for a long time and told him kinda what I was thinking. "Let's do it!" he said.

The problem now is I don't know what combo of Stripe-age I would paint on there. Regardless I am running it till the tape flies off!

I can speak from experience, but you can't tell kid's nothin now days, they gotta learn it on their own just like I did.

Took me 4 years after I quit to start having childhood memories again, no kiddin.
 
I hear ya. I quit drinking 11 months ago and only recently can I remember my teenage years with any clarity. (Might not get those all the way back)

Oh you obviously didn't read my other thread where i talked about getting two kinds of Hash and 3 kinds of Bud back from the Sherrif's office along with my scale! California is the place for me. I'll probably get sick of all this **** and move to the country one day, who knows?!?!

Once you have kids, it all changes, well it should if you want to set a good example for your kids.

No, I think you will be okay, you just gotta quit smoking the stuff and let your brain start to reroute and clean up the clouds.
It will take some time, but when I was younger, I had some pretty good memory loss, but now I can remember so many details about the past while growing up that it's to the point where it is scary for some of my family members that I can remember that stuff, and they never toked.

No I did not read that thread about getting your stuff back, but I can only imagine you either had a good lawyer, knew someone, needed it for supposed medical reasons, or the cops smoked some of it before you got there and became complacent little kittens. ha, ha.
 
I really like the fender but the roof im so so on. Its a little starsky & huch/ 71 n up rr ish. But hey man Im nobody to judge look what I did to my poor valiant

Yeah kid will change me for sure. I always wanted to be a cool dad like I've got one day! The Gal I'm sweet on has a 2-1/2 year old girl. When they move out here from Alabama things sure will be different... That much I know!

And supposed medical reasons is correct! Anyways I felt like one Bad Mamma Jamma!

I think the Roof one is too big. If I made it smaller I think it could be a Hit too! Yes the fender/ GT badge stripe RULES!

Are you going to continue across the top or the hood?
If not maybe you need to terminate it in a logical fashion.
It colud be striking in the right color combo.

As far as being "young & dumb" I was there once also, Check out my thread on restorations, you eventually get over it and if your like there is no lasting effetc there is no lasting effect there is no lasting effecttttttttttttttt. LOL

Gotta agree with BronxMopars1, lose the roof stripe and just use the fender stripes. Gotta lose the cb antenna too - if not you might as well run a bumper guard and a flag on the roof. Just my .02.
 
Have to say that I kinda like it as-well. What color is your car? Silver, light blue?
 
It's light blue. well kinda Turquoise. I do not know the name of that color... It's an original color though I know that
 
Since you ask what I think ... I dont like it, it jars! (Particulary the front stripe, which runs contrary to the body lines) Just my 2 cents worth. Sorry.
 
Thats a really nice car. The 67 GT has that great stainless trim that runs along the top of the body line already. I think the stripe takes away from that and you wll really regret the stripes once your buzz wears off.
