Stroker!?

Ok, well ive had my car for about two days, time to start modding LOL!! From what i got from the previous owner, its a 360 .30 over KB pistions Edel 650 carb, Purple cam, headman headers, im looking to utilize my budget on the mechanical side this year. My first issue is doing up my rear i need a sure grip, and mabye some 410's. A rev man valve body, with a new shifter, and im looking for more power. I was looking for a Big block before, but im fine with building a nice small block screamer. Im thinking bout a stroker 408, what do ya all think? I want to make this a monster without swapping the motor.

The 408 will make tons of torque. The 360 can run well also.

I think the plan to start with the rear and transmission are good ones. 4.10s and a good converter will wake it up. I have a real nice shifter if your interested.

I agree with Adam. Work on the rest of the drivetrain and make it stout. The engine is the easy part. There are lot's of combo's for that 360 that don't cost an arm and a leg and will get you plenty of HP.

Ive seen your shifter and ive been eyeing it up already LOL! I gotta form my plan of attack and i can start buying parts!
